Another Tit-Bit...

Changing to low-tar cigarettes does not help because smokers usually take deeper puffs and hold the smoke in for longer, dragging the tar deeper into their lungs. In addition, cigarettes and more specifically tobacco smoke are full of chemicals and poisons.

Systematic method

Guess what? Today i happened to stumble upon on a "systematic method" which will help you quit your smoking habit. These method belongs to Vaalyver from Zurich,Switzerland. Owner of the blog Sustainable Failure. I have pick these article from her blog to show you how these method really work. And trust me, when i say it really work, it really works !!

First, set a target of your reduced amount of cigarettes per day. For example, 10. For the first month, this will be your cigarette limit. After you smoke each of the cigarettes, keep the bud and write on the filter the date on which you smoke it, and keep them somewhere: in a box, wrap them in paper, whatever. I suggest you to take a monthly calendar, attach it on a piece of styrofoam board, and make small holes for you to stick each of the cigarette buds in. Make a picture of the resulting collecting platform at the end of the day.Repeat the process in successive months, but reduce the amount of cigarettes by 1. Which means if you start with 10, the next month you can only have 9 per day.Repeat until you reach the number 1. Ideally, you would have made it to ZERO in 11 months if you really have the stamina. But as I mentioned above, quitting smoking is hard according to scientific opinions. So take your time. Maybe you will never reach the magic ZERO, but hey, if you look at all the photographs and the collection of cigarette buds you have, by that time at least you would have a quite impressive collection of cigarette buds, as well as a crazy amount of photographs of them! And the buds stink. Maybe you would feel compelled to give up smoking just by looking at your massive collection. Considering selling it to a gallerist or a collector, this is art. Mention my name though!
