Hello ! My name is Jonathan Dave and i am the owner of this (Quit Smoking ) blog. I made and manage this blog personally to show how you can quit smoking efficiently. As you may not know that i had give up my smoking habit for about 2 years now. I m willing to share with you which route i had taken till who i am today. A smoke free person. Changing to low-tar cigarettes does not help because smokers usually take deeper puffs and hold the smoke in for longer, dragging the tar deeper into their lungs. In addition, cigarettes and more specifically tobacco smoke are full of chemicals and poisons.

Breathing Technique ease carvings

What if i say someone which have been smoking for 25 years beat their carving for smoking by pretending to blow out smoke rings? And it works !! Her name is Dennette. I met her in one of the Quit smoking forums session where i normally hangout . Anyway, she is very happy to know that i will publish her article here on "Quit Smoking". Please read her article.

Breathing techniques help pass the desire to smoke

Quitting smoking is the hardest mental thing I have had to do but the best physical thing.I quit on June 26 of this year. I had smoked for about 25 years. I started when I was a teenager, and I am now 39 years old. I have tried the patch many times over the years. I was wearing the patch again for the umteenth time when my husband said I needed to try something else since I always go back to smoking. He was right, so on the fourth day, I didn't put on the patch, and I have been smoke free since.??

I have used the technique of breathing in and pretending to blow smoke rings. After three or four breaths it passes until the next craving hits. I still do this technique months later.

Cravings hit when I see someone in a car or on the street smoking. I just want to take it from them and smoke it myself. I must be getting better at controlling my urges because I have been around people who smoke, and I'm okay.
